Find CAPA - Enter a CAPA number in the field to the left and push this button. The screen will move to that record.
Find Customer No. - Enter a customer's CAPA number in the field to the left and push this button. The screen will move to the your CAPA record which references that customer's CAPA number. This is helpful if you are on the phone quickly trying to let your customer know what the status is of their CAPA request.
Clone - Push this button to quickly create a new CAPA which is a partial copy of the CAPA displayed on screen. Used to avoid retyping the same information.
Left & Right Arrows - These button will scroll the screen to the previous or next CAPA records.
CAPA Number - The CAPA number for this record is 362. CAPA numbers are automatically assigned as the next sequential number.
Stage - The stage for this CAPA record is currently Implement/Verify. In order, the stages are; Description, Root Cause, Approval, Implement/Verify, Closed.
Investigator - This is the name of the person who is currently assigned as the investigator for this CAPA. The people available to be Investigators have previously been assigned to the CAPA Investigator job role. Any Investigator can reassign a CAPA to any other Investigator.
Contact - This button will open a screen which displays all of the external contact information listed in your LOS.
Files - This will open a screen where you can 'attach' a copy of a file to this CAPA record. That file copy will remain a permanent part of this CAPA record. A file can also be a copy of an email. The word Files will turn red if any files have been attached.
Meet - This button will open an Outlook appointment screen. The appointment will be partially completed; it will have a subject referencing this CAPA number and will include the names of all the people listed in this specific CAPA record.
Help - This button will open a web-based help screen for your CAPA module.
Reports - This button will open a screen which displays all the reports and charts that are available for your CAPA module.
Printer Button - This button will immediately print the internal CAPA Main report.
Eyeglasses Button - This button will display the internal CAPA Main report so you can decide if it's ready for printing.
C Button - This button will display a screen which allows you to print, view, or send a customer CAPA Main report to the customer listed on this screen.
Close - This button will close the CAPA screen.
All - If a number is shown on this button, then that is the quantity of CAPA records currently being displayed. If the word 'All' is shown on this button, then every CAPA record is being displayed.
Name Filter - Push this button to filter the screen to display the CAPA records where you have current responsibility. This could be as an Investigator, Approver, Implementer, Verifier, or any other role in your CAPA process.
List Below Name Filter - Selecting a name from this list is the same as that person pushing the Name Filter button. This allows anyone to review the current CAPA responsibilities for anyone else.
